Well I;ve been reading up a little bit on painting. It came out pretty decent.. The only bad thing about this paint job was the dusk inside the garage, but the overall finish I thought was actually pretty good. The paint supply itself was pretty cheap, as well as the labor, everything was done for less than 500 bucks.
Paint and Clear was Sherwin-Williams, pretty decent stuff..
Well let me know what you think..
The Rims have to go
After about 6 hours of cutting and buffing..

Color is BMW Steel Grey.. If anyone is trying to color match please dont use the bottom line Sherwin-Williams, b/c the color is so off. But for the overall finish it isnt bad..

Im hoping also, it just took so long since there was so much trash in the clear coat, I really have to cut down on the amount of dusk inside the garage.
Also something that concerns me is the clear coat by sherwin-wiiliams, compared to the Chroma Clear by Dupont its like night and day. The Chroma Clear is worth evey penny. But I guess the old saying is right. You get what you pay for..

Cutting is mostly to take out the roughness of the clear, You use a real fine pad, I used a 1500 but I've known people to go as low as 800, its all up to you. I choose a 1500 b/c its my first time doing it and I didnt wanna sand down to the paint.
