hmm. good thinkin. perhaps the parts stores would have the CRV gasket cheaper. but $20 from honda isnt bad either.

Quite possible that generics are out there now. Back in '01 when I needed a 2.5" donut for my JDM header, there were no alternatives to the dealership parts.

mid 90's Chrysler Caravan with the 3.8L V6 uses a 2.5'' donut gasket. I'm running one on my JDM DC header. Got mine for $10 at a local parts store.

I needed a 2.5" donut for my 5zigen header, honda wanted some ridiculous price for it, something like 30euros, so i went to an exhaust place, the guy there brought out a load of them and i started measuring and found one designed for a peugeot 607 (do you have peugeots in the US?) Bosal part# 256-781 and it cost the grand total of 4.50euros...approx $6, was a perfect fit too!

I just went to AutoZone and found a exhaust donut that fit my header and the cost was $10.99. From a little research that I did I found out that its for a 1995 Chevrolet Firebird Trans Am (MEX) or atleast that is what the AutoZone web site is telling me. At the store the guy just grabbed as many as he had and I went through them until I found one that fit.

manufacture= ROL Gaskets (www.rolmfg.com)
part #= 60810

not sure if this info will help anyone but it seems that its gonna work.

I have been to every muffler shop and parts store in my town and also have been to Import auto salvage one of the biggest import salvage yards in the southwest and have not been able to find a 2.5" donut gaset that fits.
No parts stores here seem to have anything for an s2000 or crv.
mid 90's Chrysler Caravan with the 3.8L V6 uses a 2.5'' donut gasket. there is not such thing as 3.8L v6 caravan. According to autozone and advance the 94 legend donut comes as 2 separte ones and looks nothing like the type r donut. am i just and idiot or having really crappy luck?

just venting a little
