Tried searching and posting in apperance forum, but not allow. I'll ask here.

This is for my 96 HX - I need to make it slower, so I plan on adding even more weight :-p

Anyone use the less expensive kits on ebay? Do they hold up? Are the expensive ones worth the money?

P.S. I realize some have and some don't have the gas shocks. Anyone have an opinion on better or worse gas shocks for this application?

I think it would look great..Makes the car look like a lambo and adds 30hp and gives you %50 more downforce..Go for it..

Dont forget to ask West coast customs to pimp your ride..

its his car.... its not like he is making his car look good for you.

I personally wouldnt buy something like that off ebay, Better off going namebrand (if there is one.)

The shocks that they include will probally crap out on you sooner then later because the doors arent light. So if you do decided to get them, plan on upgrading the shocks

IMO they look sweet as long as you don't go too far out on the body kit (which should not be done anyway) Are you going to install these yourself? do not buy any that say !May require some modification! make sure they are model specific, I've seen some DIY that look really shitty. I would prefer gas shocks for opening assistance, the doors may not be heavy to us but may be to some smaller passengers. Your in Tampa, talk to some local shops on the brands they use and ask to sit in a car that has them see if you could possibly ride in one look for wind coming into the doors and go on or after a heavy rain and feel for wet carpet and seats to check for leaks. Do some research because you don't want to invest in something that is going to be the newest addition to the scrap pile.
