i have a 96 integra gsr with about 90k miles had a knocking noice on the motor now it wont start at all any help would be appreciated.

yeah theres oil when i try to start it i just here ticking noices

 

So it's turning over? Slow or fast? Is there anything else you can tell us that might help?

 

seriously this isnt very descriptive.

it sounds like the motor has seized up. hate to say it but id start preparing for the worst.

 

the motor really isnt really doing anything all am getting is fast clicking noices coming from the starter that is it nothing else

 

Is the battery dead? Have you tried to jump it?

 

okay i had the battery and the starter tested and am not getting anything only thing it does it it clicks and that it

yeah they both tested good how can i test if the moter is seized?

take your spark plugs out, and crank the engine
see if it works then.

 

i know i sound stupid but how exactly do i crank the engine

 

with the key.
turn it to start.

 

It's like pulling teeth...

 

okay i pulled the spark plugs out and tried to start it and all i get is clicking noices

 

I think it's time to take it to someone who knows how to diagnose it properly.

 

yeah i might do that but most likey just part it out anybody have any other suggestions on what could be wong.

 

battery cables.

 

Try turning it over by hand without the spark plugs in it by using a wrench on the crank pully. If it rotates your in luck.
