Anyone with OMP pedals:
i used to have them on my old teg. the shop had to remove the pedals w/their linkages to mount them properly. i couldn't tell u how they did it though... sorry.
i just installed my OMP 1000 pedals this past weekend. I dont really have any tips though. I just removed the stock pedal covers(the gas is a pain) and positioned the omp pedals where i wanted them, marked two spots on the stock pedals to drill through. okay i thought of a tip. only drill one hole first then attach the pedal this way you can swivel the pedal and line it up straight. leave the omp pedal on when you drill the second hole. the hole on the omp pedal will act as a guide when you drill the second hole. also put the brake and gas pedal on first before clutch pedal. i put the clutch on first and found that it was too low after the brake an gas were attached. so i had to redrill the clutch pedal. also the gas is tricky to find drilling spots. i drilled a hole in the bottom right corner first, then found a spot on the top right to drill. it is a real pita to get a drill in there to get to the gas pedal. good luck and have fun.
Thanks for the tips! I got them all on with minimal swearing, and I only drilled my finger once! The gas pedal was kind of tough, but I managed to mount them all fairly cleanly. I really like the look and feel of these pedals, and the price was right too. I give them a

Ordered my 1000's the other day,, should be here any day now. Cant wait for the bitch of an install but drilling is worth it cause those clips never work right!
I got a set of these for Christmas too, and was worried about the install...
typeR158 would you see which holes you used on the three pedals for each pair of bolts? It looks like each pedal has three columns of holes and several rows, so if you said something like '2nd and 3rd column/ 3rd row for the brake pedal', I'd know the best spots to use!
Thanks.
Flux was going to post some pics of his recenbt installation, but I don't think he ever did...

I've got to go buy me one!You can use any hole you want to do the install - whicever ones make it easier for you. Tip: make sure you have room behind the hole you drill for the bolt and nut, especially on the gas pedal - there are some supports that interfere a bit...
Do the pedals come with the bolts and whatnot, just curious.
They come with everything but the elbow grease...

That's why I wanted to see a pic of someones already installed!
Actually, they don't come with any instructions!?...

Hey Flux, did you have some room to decide where you mounted these pedals, or were the holes you drilled the only place they could go? I'm wondering if the gas pedal couldn't come over a little closer to the brake.
You actually have some room to move them a bit on th pedals to get them positioned. The gas pedal is by far the most difficult to get where you want it - it is narrow and has some supporting metal attached behind it, so it is a little difficult to find a good place.
My gas pedal is rotated just a little bit toward the brake to get it a bit closer... works great.

When you take the plastic slip off the gas pedal you'll see a hole in the bottom of it allready. I drilled my first hole in the bottom left corner, in such a place as the pedal was in the right position to drill a hole in the top right corner. Drill the first hole, mount the pedal, and start to drill the second hole. Then swing the pedal out of the way and finish drilling the secon hole. One thing to watch out for- the pedal has a stop on the back of it near the bottom. You want to make sure to avoid it with the bottom hole or you'll have a bitch of a time getting the nut on. Install the gas first, then the brake, then clutch. Once you mount them you can still move them around, just by switching holes in the pedals. I had to adjust my gas and clutch once I had driven it, you probably will too. Oh and I tried to use opposit corners to attach the pedals, looked stronger that way but I could be wrong.
