my friend has one on his G2 GSR....
it's stupid loud, and hangs stupid low near the gastank (because it goes underneath it).

He bottoms out on it daily

I'll see if i remember to snap some pics the next time i see him.

Cool thanks... Do you think this exhaust makes more power and or is worth it?

this is a cat-back system which means it bolts up to your cat. you either use your stock cat, buy a high flow cat, or use a test pipe.

he noticed a gain, but nothing special that the EX-mag couldn't offer for me.

He wanted loud, so i recommended the GT2 to him..

I have the GT2 on my 2nd gen right now, and yes it does hang really low. Its loud but not raspy, its kind of deep. I love mine

of course it's gonna be stupid loud.. that's becuase he doesn't have the silencer in.. i had a tanabe SRM on my civic R.i.P. and it was stupid loud when i didn't have the silencer in.. so if u don't want really loud (even though its deep loud) just put the silencer in and its ALOT quiter.. anyway nice teg the rsr looks great.

I think that the whole reason it goes under the gas tank and hangs low rather than the standard way is to minimize the pipe bends (and restriction). If you want something thats similar in that there are no resonators and straight-through style muffler a spoon N1 or skunk2 with the resonator replaced with straight pipe would work good.

if you're spending the money to free up flow, what's the point in getting an exhaust, only to have to plug it up at the end to quiet it down?

Kinda defeats the purpose of the exhaust.

That exhaust is pointless unless you are turbo. My .02

Please elaborate more. I would like to know why you think it's pointless.

It's one of the straightest exhausts out there for under $500. It only has one bend, correct?

I don't see how you think it's pointless.

There are very very few N/A builds that would require an exhaust to flow so well that it couldn't have bends, and would kill your ground clearance completely.
