Use tape for now. I have seen people use interior trim push clips. I know its not what you want I'm just trying to help you.

Its not gonna mess up any electrical stuff. If you look where the holes are, water isnt gonna go into the car or anything. It wont hurt anymore than if you still had the wing on and it was raining.

Lol, had holes in my trunk for about a year now...since I started the de-ricing process of removing the wing....electric tape does wonders til u find a suitable replacement trunk lid. (my car is black...so black tape, u can't even tell lmfao)
Put some tape on the underside of the holes. It's a little bit cleaner, and it won't leave the adhesive of the tape on your paint. If you want something more permanent, shave em. rubber plugs look like **** imo.
I used plastic plugs as well, scuffed 'em up and painted them with touch up paint, then sealed underneath with silicone.
If its the stock mounting templates where its drilled, it won't damage anything, the water will just run into the channels at the side of the trunk.

were the plastic plugs flimsy or hard.... hmmm im just going to hope i dont get any ***** jokes in responce to that
Haha they were hard plastic, they weren't meant for pluggin spoiler holes, but basically almost any plug larger than the hole will do, the silicone will hold it in place.
I am using electical tape for now(it doesn't eat the paint and is waterproof), but I have a guy that can spot in metal peices(he is an old car resturation guy). That will require a welding a proccess, sanding, a small bit of bondo(to make it smooth again) and of course paint. He quoted me $250 extra when my front end was getting painted, so now who no's.
