Would be very surprised if they weren't, as Honda likes to keep things simple. I might be wrong though. Besides, I've seen guys in tegs with S2k *****.

The accessory shift **** for the base RSX retails for around $45. It fits great on my car and has the correct shift pattern. Just be sure to order the one for the base model and not the type-s.

what does the base model one look like?

The accessory aluminum **** for the base RSX is the same as the one for the type-s except is has a 5 speed pattern instead of six. I almost bought the type-s version until I found out about this one.

It's pretty close to the 00-01 R **** from what I recall. I think it is slightly wider and shorter but not by much. I have a '98, my original **** was completely different.
