gusseting the d00r barz will add l0ts of str3ngth f0 those nascar styles side impacts

Also - are you planning on running bars from the a-pillar (near the floor) to the firewall? I would do that on the drivers side - f00t intr00sion pr0tection Those are NASA/IT-legal as 7th/8th points.

 

yeah. it's going to get gussets like the one's on the roof on the door cross bars and gussets on the a and b pillars. will post the pic's when it's finished. don't know about the support bars from the rear support to the main hoop foot plates though, have to check with mike honda (it's his car) to see what he wants to do.

was planned as a 8pt but mikehonda wants to drive it on the street and keep the brake booster and other stock parts and not have to run tilton pedal assembles and stuff like that. may change it later to an 8pt later if the car ends up as a track *****.

hell's no, too much work to still do on that thing. it's like building a ship in a bottle. i'm tired of crawling around in that car like a monkey, i'll finish it next month
