It's discussed at great length at clubrsx, but this is a way, way better forum. In a nutshell, a considerable number of our cars grind slightly from 1-2 and 2-3, occasionally, particularly in cold weather. There have been a couple tech service bulletins related to this and some people have had luck with the dealer helping them out.
Apparently the issue was very prominent in the 02, still there in 03 and in some of the 04's. My '04 has no such problems, but the Vin# falls outside the range of that TSB you posted, so maybe they fixed it on mine.
Some people have suggested that it's poor shifting technique, but who knows...
I've also heard that people use different tranny fluid (royal purple, redline and especially GM synchromesh) and it helps considerably.
Note that this is all just a compilation of other info I've found on the forums, not my personal experience, since my car doesn't grind thankfully.

I talked to a service writer here in Memphis and he said that they will fix it for free if you ask them, but they aren't gonna notify like they would for a recall.

Man If you have any problems with your RSX just take it in and tell them your problem,,,,Acura will try and fix all problems for you if you have warranty
Be careful about going up there. The service writer that I talked to told me that Acura of Memphis is putting a stop to warranty work on even slightly modified vehicles. Even Comptech installed at the dealership. If you can take the mods off with little effort (i.e. bolt-ons), it might be better to take em off just to be safe. I realise that warrantys are made to be voided, but if you can get work done for free with a minimal amount of work, then why not take advantage. Usually if you're cool with them, they'll overlook it.

I'm sure there's a few lemons out there, but i believe most of the problems come down to poor shifting.

i dont think most problems come down to poor shifting. i mean why would the put out this service bulletin if it was most people shifting poorly
