For all of you that said to me that the Greddy Muffler for $40 off eBay shiped is crappy, ****, you fucked up hardcore. Finally put that beast on today, that is the cleanest god damn sounding muffler I have ever heard I think. I mean god damn, I am very very very impressed. Has a very mellow deep growl to it, on my stock HX exhust.

For anyone looking to just put some sound into there car and not spend big bucks, but still want sound and looks, I highly Reconmend this

I don't remember reading your original thread, but FYI, that's not Greddy, Apexi, or a 5Zigen fireball. Keep en eye on the muffler, as I've seen those split at the seams on more than one occassion. A local shop used to sell those under the name Powerperf Exhaust systems, and they kept coming back due to massive leaks.

 

if it holds up thats not too bad for what it is (which is a useless annoying mod), i wouldnt talk **** until it's been on the car for a few months though

 

Yeah and for some reason everytime I see someone with a welded on muffler it points down at an angle, whats up with that? Make sure you don't mount yours like that.

And just like has already been said, that is NOT a Greddy muffler. It's a generic knockoff that people have been mass producing since people such as yourself want to just make their car sound fast instead of actually getting something that increases performance.

What do you guys Think About a Tanabe Muffler Is it Worth it to Install it or sell it and bu an exhaust? I like it Because its very JDM. What do you guys think?

Notice it says "Fireball, Greddy and Apexi <U>style</U> muffler." If you're gonna get exhaust, do it all at once. Header and exhaust together. I have a full flowmaster exhaust.

 

you know that flowmaster is crap right? if you wonna stick to something of that style you magnaflow. Flowmaster flows like **** believe me.

I second the Flowmaster crappiness comment. A guy I know has a full Flowmaster exhaust on his 1.8T Jetta and it sounds really bad. Not zingy or anything, just a dull droning waaaaaaa. It sounds kind of like my Apex'i Dunk catback, without the 4k+ rpm screaming. I don't like having a loud exhaust on an otherwise stock, slow car, but it came with it so what can I do.
