Default I painted my extra set of blades...

I wasn't sure if I should post this in Appearence of if i should put it here since its integra related...so mods if it needs move go ahead and move it.

I decided to paint the extra set of blades I had and decided to go with black with a polished lip. I'm not sure if they are going to stay this color but let me know what you think!

And yes it needs dropped i know

Nice job. How did you mask the lip?

I just went over the lip with a stick of chapstick, then wiped the paint off after the rest of the wheel dried, the paint doesn't adhere to the chapstick.

Wow, that's a smart way to do it. I like it, I've always loved black rims w/ a polished lip. Looks good!

I don't really like the blades in black. I think gunmetal would have been a better color choice.

looks pretty good but I would have also gone with a glossier black...It would make the blades stand out more. Black lugs would be tight too...

They look alright, but I think they would have looked better gunmetal or bronze. I dont think blades look good black. I have seen some SIICK gunmetal and bronze powder-coated blades though. Still, good job on the DIY and effort.

I dont like the wheels themselves much, but the work you did on them is awesome, Ive always thought the idea of chapsticking was kinda shady, proved me wrong.

yep..chapsticking actually works...who would have thought that? You could actually use chapstick not only on human lips, but wheel lips too! LOL

They look nice, but that is a lot of chapstick. When I painted my blades I used vaseline...
