Default 1995 Del Sol going in for some Bodywork/Possible paint job

My brother just found a shop for he and a friend to start working on their cars and doing work for others in their spare time..

No better time or place to start doing the much needed bodywork on my del sol... I hope that things will come together once the body work is done and I can come up with the money/time to paint the whole thing...

I will try to post pics of the after once I get some work done.. my wife started on it.. lol She grabbed the sander and went to work.. to my surprise of course..

The fender she worked on is damn smooth I might add.

Problems:
-Passenger Side fender is almost half bondo half metal.. will be replaced
-Driver side fender has lots of bondo where the previous owner tried to "mold" on the front bumper.. he "feathered" with bondo instead of sanding it smooth.. idiot
-Rear Quarter Panel Rust.. Who Knew
-Front bumper and Hood both just basically need to be prepped for paint.. no real work will be done...
-The rest of the car was painted by a complete idiot.. There is over-spray on everything and I am going to try to replace/repair most of the seals and things during the time I'm working..

Enjoy

Grow up
Joking or not, that was rude as hell..
If she is fugly, then I am dog crap.. Guess we go great together eh?

Thanks to everyone else, but this already looks like its going to get cut short.. they are working really hard on that dirty a** celica next to mine and the rest of the time they aren't there.. I guess I will have to learn as I go...

Any tips on this stuff? If I am too intimidated, I may just flat black the front till I can get it done right.. Its been done wrong once, thats one time too many..

This is the wife...to the jerk, among other words, who called me fugly, thank you...I never knew that people I don't even know could hurt me so much. And to those of you who bashed him for saying that, thank you, because you all are totally sweet..
-Love the wife

P.S. I did a damn good job on that fender!

Unnecessary comment reported, and hopefully deleted.

It's one thing to talk trash about someones project car, that you might not like, but there's absolutely no need to bash someones loved one. If I was mod....well, regardless, it was reported.

Well if I had the money in hand it would definately get painted.. only problem is, I am not in a position to use money out of pocket.. The guy owes me for a turbo kit I'm selling.. Im going to smooth the body to the best of my ability (which is very limited..) but I'm easily annoyed with body flaws, so it should come out bareable...

If I can talk him in to painting it, I think it's going to be either phoneix yellow, greneda(sp?) black pearl, or possibly a dark metallic red color..

Im gonna try to get some pics of each to decide what color I should get it painted if it comes out in my favor...

If not, it will at least lose a few colors.. will be yellow with a flat black front end.. (but a smooth and straight front..) Either way, it will look nicer than it does now.

It looks like crap..

Color roll call:
Red....Check (bumper support)
Black....Check (engine bay)
Blue....Check (front bumper)
Yellow....Check (doors back of car)
White....Check (any where that has a paint chip)
Green....Check (well.. before today it was the d. side fender)
Puke Green....Check (hood)

She did a nice job... That fender is already finished.. the rest requires more time and skill and the guys that were supposed to "teach" me as I go are too busy..

The bumper is stock and I don't know enough about paint work to know what I should do to strip and re-paint that, and the hood was painted by someone who just followed the steps.. it has lots of small craters all over the place.. look like popped fish eys.. I don't know how to solve that little problem either...
