I had the H23 but i know have an F22b and since that is JDM it did not have a knock synsor like the H23 did. Ive been told i can JB Weld a Nut to my block and screw the knock synsor into that but that is a little to ghetto for me. Is their a way to bypass the synsor or some other way i can mount it since you cannot weld a nut to a aluminum block?

you are going to have to find a flat surface on the upper portion of the block and make a thread for the knock sensor.

check if it has a flat surface where the knock sensor is suppose to be on the h22/h23 block.

another option is to install a hondata

 

There is a flat surface on the back of the block above that coolant line that runs accross the back of the block. on the H23 it had a threaded insert for the knock synsor as in the F22 block its just not their. i already looked for a place to drill out a hole and thread it but not possible. Whats hondata?

 

you can weld on to the block take it to a shop that can weld aluminium. thats the right way to do it, not "ghetto"

 

I never said welding it would be ghetto i said JB Welding it would be ghetto.
