Hey whats up guys I need a lil help. I had the site b4 but i lost it and cant find it again I need to know the engine codes for a b16a1 or a pr3 ecu my engine is saying 17 and 23 but i dont know what they mean

thanks i got it it got a VSS-speed sensor code and a knock sensor code> im gonna replace the knock sensor but is there anyway around the speed sensor i broke the speedo cable and im not in the mood to put a new one in.

 

without a vehicle speed signal, your car will not go into vtec.

 

i was wondering cause my boy got the same set up as me in his crx and his speedo cable isnt hooked up and his works fine. so could it be that the part that plugsin to the tranny is broke?

 

make sure both ends of the cable are hooked up.

one of my first projects was changing out a trans, like 2 years ago. I forgot to disconnect the speedo cable from the trans and the weight of the trans pulled the fucken thing out from the back of the dash.

easy fix really, you just have to pull out the dash.
