For those of you with main relay problems.
If you are having main relay problems there is a quick easy way to fix it. (after you take it out) If you resolder the two points in the circle it should fix the common problem.

I did this to mine and it works everytime. Now I can shut off my car at the gas station and it will start back up for me.

Once I had mine removed I bent the bracket and relocated it under the dash.

Resolder in place, or resolder together (so they touch)?

Just to be fair, this sometimes doesn't fix the problem. I just finally dropped $60 to buy a new relay because I soldered it twice and it still failed sometimes. For $60 I thought it was worth it not to have the headaches at the gas station. Go here to http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/ for a good price on it.

the way i look at it - why go through all the trouble of taking the thing out, taking it all apart, putting a little solder in, putting it all back together, plugging it in and hoping it still works, when i can go to the dealer, pay $40, and plug in a brand new factory relay that will work for many more years to come.
Well, I pulled my main relay yesterday and reflowed solder in all of the joints that appeared to be cracked [I had four obvious cracks]. Hopefully no more 'no start' conditions this summer [I was PLAGUED with them last summer].
I also relocated my main relay so it's a little more accessable in case I have to pull it out again. I just put it near the hood release.
Here's a small diagram that may help if you're wondering what goes where in the relay:
