Compression test results, burning oil questions
Boosted b18c5, stock internals and valvetrain.
Checked the compression today: 215, 220, 215, 215.
Car burns alot of oil, like a litre every 500 to 1000 kms, and a litre every 20 mins or so at hpde's. From a stop I throw out huge blue smokescreens in first and second, sometimes third.
Plugs had a little bit of carbon with white dots in it.
#1 plug had oil on the threads.
The head got rebuilt during the turbo install (bent valves), so I don't think the valve seals are gone.
I'm stumped. Any suggestions?

Check your turbo. I had the compressor side seal go bad so I was burning oil and smoking a lot. Your piping may still look clean despite the oil leak so one thing to do is to unhook your piping somewhere right after the compressor before it gets to your intake, drive around NA for a bit, see if the smoking goes away, then pop the hood and see if oil has built up where you unhooked the pipes.
hmm I'll check the turbo tomorrow. The dots on the plugs were more of a pale yellow than a white color, and there was a lot of black carbon below the yellow stuff, especially on plug #4.
