i got an ek and my rear is gutted and all i got for entertainment is the front 6.5 speakers.
this is not enough..im just wondering what is everyone running for entertainment w/ gutted interiors..

 

i'm gunna take a stab here and say they listen to the car for fun since they don't wanna add the weight of a system. if you gut the rear to save 50 pounds you aren't gunna wanna add 100 lbs of stereo stuff.

oem 92 cx 6.5 door speakers..the cx speakers have alot more watts then all of the other oem 6.5's ive seen..they are pretty loud and clear

 

it's really funny how little radio you actually listen to.

i do have a kenwood 717 with JVC 6.5 in the front and some MB Quart 5.5 in the back. I sure do miss my sub though.

 

running only a pair of front seats.... no jack no spare no carpet...

i've got a pair of 6.5"s all around (4).... both sets powered by amps underneath the seat.... works ok for me. wanna try and get an 8" sub and put that underneath the seat too

 

i have no back seats and i have pioneer door speakers and rear speakers and a 10" sub and it soounds good to me

How high are your seats? I had a couple 8" JL's that wouldn't fit under either stock EH seats or DC seats. Both in an EH.

 

Headunit, 5-1/2s and a 8in bazooka tube self powered. The tube unplugs and comes out of the car in like 10seconds for when i'm at the track.

The car WILL have a stereo... until its towed to the track and not streetable.

not sure who tom is but yea that's what i do. i have a 92 cx with notta dang thing in it but a driver seat and a dash skeleton. oh yea of the other stuff you need to drive with.
