hello dont know if this is a repost or anybody here has done this but i got this idea from a person on teamintegra.net to turn their stock 94-97 tails into 98-01 jdm tails. the reason im posting this is because i messed up on the project and now need the right tail light.
here's a pics of the project.
right side cracked

left side i got it out pretty good.

u just paint the outer parts silver and u have jdm tails. so would anybody like to donate their tails so i can finish this project ill be willing to pay for the shipping cost.

anyways, sorry to hear you broke it. did you heat them up? look in the classifieds for a new tail light, i am not sure if you will find one for free, though.

Before & After pictures, that are big enough to See, would also be nice.
Then some of us might have a better chance of seeing the difference.

That doesn't make much sense if you compare the same year jdm tails, as shown in this


The only real difference is he's making them "Brighter" I guess,
so they're more of just newer tails but with an orange turn signal, and still not jdm.
Maybe if you took the reflectors out, then it would actually be closer.

 

For me I just painted the whole taillights with candypaint....these were them ugly altezza carbon lights btw..

I actually prefer the look of the 94-97 USDM/JDM tail- lights. The 98-01 USDM lights are too red for my tastes, I need to have variety.
