I don't have an answer but will be interested to hear if someone does because I have had similar problems with the passenger window, and only the passenger window, on a number of my Hondas and Acuras. Three Civics and two Integras to be exact.

could be or is sand on the weather stripping on the door. roll the window down and clean the seal.

I find when the window is dirty it does this.

Usually a good washing fixes it.

But on a sidenote, my passenger window seems to be slower than my driver's side. Anyone else experience this?

That happens on my passenger rear window. Are there any smears or streaks on your window after you roll it up and down?

well i have scrapes on my tint from the window, but i went to the dealer and they said something about a regulator or something? but i dont know what it would have to do with the track of the window. but the guy told me also that since i have tint on my windows, honda can and possibly will dismiss my claim. and i wasnt the only person that went in there that day and asked about it.

in response to fijibluefg2, all the hondas i've owned in the past the passenger window is slightly slower than the driver side. idk why, maybe its a safety thing, like ur getting carjacked and u need to roll the window up, so thats why the driver side is faster. it might be the answer, it might not. but thanks guys for replying. im gonna try and wash my car tomorrow since it hasnt been washed in 2 months.

all honda passenger windows are slow and they get slower. i own 3 and all my friends have hondas that do the same thing. my prelude, rsx, civic si, my friends itr, ej, and my friends ek all have slow pass windows.
also my passenger window leaves a streak right up the middle diagonally for about 3 days after i wash it.

Spray either silicone spray or pentrating lubricant in the front and rear window weather stripping, then run them up and down a few times. They shuld start to speed up a little.

If you have non-dealer installed tint, then don't even bother your Honda dealer about it.

Honda is teh gay when it comes to stuff like this

What the hell does tint have to do with things going wrong on a window?

YOu should have asked them to prove that the tint was the cause

yep in order for them to say that they wont warrant it, they have to provide evidence to prove that the tine was THE cause of the windows behaving erraticly. i got a article on it somwhere lol. gotta go find it

those 2 scratches are long streaks that go vertically correct??

on ur driver window is the scratch towards the front of it about 3/4 of the length of the window towards the mirror? and on ur passenger side is it in the middle of the window?

wow im good. i asked because those 2 scratches i addressed to you are exactly where mine are located. i figure it has to be something metallic scraping the window.

hey everyone maybe I can help some of you out. I am a service advisor for Honda and there is a bulletin out from honda regarding noises when you roll your windows up and down. Let me say first if your windows are tinted then you are stuck because the bulletin clearly states the noise is coming from the window tint and not the regulator. Now for those of you who do not have tine, there is lso a bulletin about the regulator cable. It does state that it Highly recommends that all models 06 and up not be tinted. The tint rubbing against the track and seals is where the noise is coming from. My windows are tinted on my 08 si and it does it but it never did it before the tint so I just have to live with it. Any qustions just ask I'll even post the bulletin

Yep,Honda recommends that you shouldn't tint your windows on any of their new vehicles. This IMO is a crock and a cop out for Honda to not do warranty work. When I was a tech, tinted windows didn't viod any warranty.Lowering your car only vioded warranty on shocks, and headers only vioded warranty on the heated O2 sensor.

My Friends Si is tinted and he's never had an issue.

you are exactly correct. Honda's are the most modified cars on the market and Honda knows that so they will use your modification aqainst you just like your own car insurance will do
