RS Lip Kit
Coulden't find the old thread. I know there is a lot of interest in the 04-05 RS lip kit. The same front lip came as an accessory on the Canadian LX-G. Part numbers are:
08F01-S5A-3T0A
08F03-S5A-3T0A
Colour codes (3T0A) in this case are for Fiji Blue Pearl.
Just though I'd post these up if someone wanted to try and track them down. I called College Hills Honda but they couldent look the numbers up.

Re: (toyomatt84)
Just for clarification, are you referring to the Canadian 2002 LX Sport Edition Sedan? I'm assuming yes because that was the only year that honda sold any of the Canadian 7th gen sedans w/ a stock lip kit.
Also, the Sport Edition only came in silver or black color. I've already tried buying one in Eternal Blue but Honda said that the lip wasn't offered as an optional accessory so only silver or black is available.
btw...european accessory catalog

Re: (theineffable)
This is from an 04 to 05 Canadian model LX-G. It's basically the Canadian Si (American EX) but no vtec motor and different wheels. It was done to dress up the LX-G with abs and a sunroof. There are not many LX-G's that have this kit. I have seen only 3 since the first one I saw. The lips are available at the dealer still, for about $600 a piece.
Next time I see one I will try and snap pics.
You are correct that the 03 and older kits are different and only in two colours. This car also has the 99-00 Canadian SiR/American Si wheels.

Re: (05CivicSi)
in canada, honda didn't include a factory skirt kit with the 2003 LX Sport Edition...the car had the Si (aka SiR) wheels but no skirt kit...
the RS lip kit was also available only in 2002 LX Sport Sedan
i wonder if Ontario Honda dealers may have had different dealer-customized standard options. someone once mentioned to me that the 02 Si-G Veloz coupe was offered in any color in Ontario. in bc it was only silver and black.

Re: (mrtrinh)
I'm 99% sure that its the same as the RS.
I just gotta get some pics to prove it.
Google search some dealers, call em up, your looking at $600 a piece.

Not hard to find, each of the dealers I called could order it. Just I'd dont know how willing people are to pay $600 a piece.

Re: (theineffable)
I believe what I've seen is the same kit. I just need to get some pics of one to settle it, me being right or wrong. Its just that's it rather rare, I've only seen it 3 times since I first saw it. I checked 500+ ads in the online autotrader and didn't see one.

Re: (Tonyja)
i still doubt honda canada ever sold the half front lip for the civic
if it's true, there'd be so many cars sporting it by now...it's $600 but there would still be lots of people who would pay for it...

Re: (mrtrinh)
that's how much the kits cost in Canada if one wants to buy individual pieces...
even the other style oem lips are $600ish from the dealer...keep in mind that it's always cheaper to buy the entire kit than individual pieces...$600 is also just the MSRP price...parts are sometimes sold for quite a bit less especially if it's stock that's been sitting around too long

Re: (theineffable)
hmmm...so i did a little more research and it looks as if honda may in fact have had an optional oem kit for the 04-05 sedan (not exclusive to any trims)...
i'll have to find out exactly what parts are in the kit though...i still haven't confirmed that the half lip is part of it....the MSRP price is $2500 for the entire kit but i may be able to get it for $1200- $1500 depending on the color....
btw, if this kit actually exists in canada, i must say that honda does an absolutely horrible job of advertising optional accessories....i have never seen a single sedan sporting this kit..it was also never pictured on the honda.ca website back when before the 04-05 civics were discontinued...what's the point of selling something if they won't let anyone know it actually exists?
