Testing Waters- 1989 CRX Si clean title super clean ride 196whp! Over 12k invested!
Back on the market after 4 years!
So here's the story on this car- 4+ years ago I was really into Hondas and Crx's especially but I got really busy with a new job and bought a condo, then got into dirtbike racing. Now I'm married with a baby girl and want to get another vehicle that I can take my family camping in. This CRX was one of my greatest projects and 99% of the work was done by me, including paint! So much sweat equity was put into it (although I know I wont get that back in money) it was really hard for me to let this car go so I probably didnt try hard enough to sell it 5 years ago.
The car has been in storage at my parent's place in the mountains during this time. This past weekend (6-29-2013) I spent some time getting my beloved lil CRX running again. Things that were just done include oil change to mobil one synthetic, new oil filter, drained all of the old fuel, inspected the brakes which need a full servicing (brakes will be overhauled in the next few weeks), and new odyssey PC680 battery. Also in the next few weeks I will have the rear hatch shock replaced and the car sqeaky clean again, she'd a bit dirty from storage!
When I get the car road worthy I plan on having it down in the San Diego area for any potential buyers within the next month. Keep in mind I'm very flexible on price and am gauging interest at this time. As the engine from this car is way to modified there is no way in hell it will even remotely pass cali emissions or BAR, so smog will be up to the buyer! I'm willing to ship the car out of state at the buyers expense.

Sweet ride bro.
I'm definitely someone your looking for regarding "to just anyone", assuming I can afford it. I had a beauty 90 Si for a 11 years (my unbiological baby) and one of our Houston's finest (cop) decided to run a stop sign with no lights or siren and totalled my car
, his fault of course but I got screwed. Anyway, I have the car in my garage because I just can't sell it with all the but load of goodies, suspension, breaks, ect. it has.
Please post interior pics and a price.
Good luck!

No AC, heater still works great, I recently did a full dissamble cleaning job on the blower unit so it works smooth.

No Nova! The condo is the most important right now.

I left out that I have the complete stock AC system that worked flawlessly before pulling it out. I even have a b-series compressor and bracket for a conversion. I also left out the exhaust. Its a Edelbrock SS header with a 2.5" collector mod through an omni test pipe and then through a Thermal SS 2.25" cat-back.
Currently the engine needs a re-tune as it is running rich and could use a bigger TB as I'm still using the stock GSR TB. After a re-tune and new TB this engine should easily put down 210whp!
Wow, this is the first time I have actually listed out the parts in my car, there are alot!
Anyway, I'm thinking setting a price of $9k OBO.
