D16a6/ Skunk2 IM / stock battery location....what intake?
I have a generic d16a6 2.25 intake tube without a filter right now. looking to get a decent intake/filter setup. would like 3in intake as opposed to the 2.25 I have now.
I am open to:
-buy used or new
-buy one made from another car
-re-dyno after I get my stepped header
see Bio for motor setup.
Thanks in advance.
BTW, I like this stock look setup, if it is more functional over aftermarket.

Here is my set-up on my A6

The tube is for a prelude that I got from Kragen. Then I visited the turbo shop and got the 45deg. tube and the air horn w/filter.
I have positioned the battery toward the motor with a piece of tubing 1/2 fuel tubing so the battery sits a little over to give it more room. Also note the cover on the positive batt. terminal.(Very important)
I can give you the shops name if you need. I was just showing you this so you can get an idea.

nice engine bay
I will use the positive battery terminal cover and an ITG filter sock to a 2.25 in ebay knockoff tube. the sock is for a 3" tube, but will work for now till I can get a 3" tube cheap.
Thanks everyone for the help.
