Default 1998 ITR#937

Hey guys,
I can't really call myself an ITR owner anymore because of my '08 TSX, although I do have a CW one sleeping in my garage. I haven't driven it in almost 3 years ever since my motorcycle crash. I finally rolled it out to wash it last night, but I'll start with the pics I took almost 3 years ago. By the way, although it's not currently being driven by anyone, I will never part with it; I'm solely an integra fan and will always be one. So please don't PM me with offers.

These were taken in the summer of '05
although I loved my integra, as you can tell, I loved my bike more.

And these were taken just last night (Sorry that they are kinda blurry, it got dark and i didn't have a tripod):

this is what it looked like before the wash:

sleeping in the garage:

these are pics of my friends' E63AMG and M6

and finally, my '01 PY ITR that was stolen 3 and some years ago:

Enjoy!

Unfortunately, the previous owner of the PY had his interior stolen, so I never knew the badge number for that one. The PY had about 35k miles, the CW currently has 66kmiles. The PY was never found, and it sucked more that I put a lot of money into it. The CW is currently bone stock with an exception of seats and JDM 4-1 headers.

May be personal, but why haven't you driven the R in almost 3 years? I just couldn't let a car sit in a garage and never drive it.

I was involved in a pretty serious motorcycle accident in october 2005, and since then I can't really move my ankle that much, nor do I have the strength to push down a heavy clutch. I also have problems walking so I think it would be kind of rude to park in a handicapped spot with an ITR. Also, with northern VA traffic almost every hour of the day, I think I would seriously hurt myself trying to drive that car. I also don't want to drive it unless I can maintain it properly, and I'm afraid of it getting stolen again.

Well hopefully things get better for you, it saddens me to see someone who is passionate about their car to not be able to enjoy it.

I couldnt just let a beautiful car like that sit.

hey dude, really sad to hear that you can no longer enjoy the R to its fullest, although im glad to see that your keeping it all the same..

im sure you've thought about various ways to get back behind the wheel, but there are clutches such as exedy OEM replacement that make a really really light pedal, no effort at all!!

I'm sorry to hear your accident has caused you so much trouble. I'm not sure if I could stand that. The car looks good, hopefully you can get to a point where you can drive it comfortably again.

It's hard to keep a R safe in Northern VA. A garage is a must here, and glad to see that yours is safe inside one. As for not driving it in a couple years... I really haven't driven mine since last EXPO.
