http://www.clutchcityonline.com/ has a specific kit for 88's and 89's who want to use a 90 flywheel. if you have an 88, just order the 90-91 kit and tell them you have an 88 (21 spline) tranny and they will give you the accord disc.

The wonderful flow chart doesn't directly state (it implies) that all flywheels work on all engines. Is this indeed true?

88-89 flywheel, 200MM, fits on 88-91?
90-91 flywheel, 212MM, fits on 88-91?

 

flywheel only changes in diameter, not in how it mounts to the crankshaft.

old thread, but i made the chart - this is a revised version to show that you can now upgrade the 88 clutch and flywheel to 90-91 by purchasing the upgrade kit from ACT or EXEDY:

 

I bought a 88 dx transmission for my 89 std what do i need so i can swap the transmissions and not have any problems because i dnt kno if the cv axils i need for it r gunna b different or what clutch to put in please list everything i need i really appreciate the help
