When you want to make a thread there are a few things you need to take into consideration:

A) people looking at the forum with new threads are going to be more "in-tuned" to what your thread is about if you give a short description of why you are posting. Thread titles like "sorry, i'm a noob", "noob question", "HELP", etc. Things of this nature KILL the ability for people searching to find information on the same types of problems they might be having.

B) this subject title should be as short, sweet and to the point as possible so people viewing the main forum can decide whether they can help or not before even clicking into your thread.

C) Many people like myself who actually have a little experience and can help out around here usually skip over threads like the ones stated above. Its just a waste of time when people cannot even take the time to briefly describe why you are making a thread. Unfortunately I have to read just about every thread in here so just make my job easier.
