leaking eng. oil
have been losing oil for quite a while now...nd gettin tired of filling up every so often....the thing is that there is no oil on da floor where it is parked so dont know how or where oil is leaking from....have been told that it might be leakin through a plug near the lower left of the valve cover....any help suggestions

Ok.... for those that are SMART it's not a cam seal. If you go to a dealer and you order up a cam seal you will get something completely different and on the other side of the engine even!
It's a plug. Dealerships call them valve cover plug. If you're going to change that and you have the spare cash, change your valve cover gasket too.

If you are losing a significant amount of oil, enough for you to notice routine refills I would think some oil would show up on the floor.
Is your motor covered in oil? You may have more of a problem than just leaking oil. You could be possibly burning oil. Just keep that in mind.

its more like i fill up ....once in a while...there is never any oil on the floor...im guessin it might leak while its running...sure its leak from the cam seal for there is some oil sorrounding that area...prob. cuz sealant is coming off!!!
