Default EG SI option

Does anyone know around how many 92-95 Si's (EG hatch) came with power windows? Almost every EG Si I have seen has roll up windows and a power sunroof. Was power windows even an option?

EH3 is the u.s. chassis code for the hatchback SI
EH2, correct me if im wrong, is the VX, CX, and DX chassis code for the other hatchbacks.

are you positive?

My friend said his 93 SI had power windows and he didn't say anything about a conversion.

Anyway, how hard is the conversion from an EX or LX to an SI? Do the door panels from the EX directly replace the door panels from the SI?

EG hatches never came with power windows or locks.
EX to SI - direct swap with door and floor harnesses, regulators/motors, panels and switches. Everything mounts up and works like OEM.

I just checked the catalog. There was no option for power windows in any '92-'95 Civic Si.

Thanks a lot guys. Now I know for sure.

The reason I asked is because I am looking for a 92-95 SI. I wanted power windows but I am going to do the EX swap now. At least the SI comes with a sunroof. Is the sunroof power?
BTW, I have to take out the window to get the motor/regulator on right?

Speaking of options, what kind of radio does the 92-95 SI come with stock? AM/FM and cassette only? Also is it true the 92-93 did not have speakers mounted in the rear quarter panels by the seats?

I don't care about the speaker sizes, heh. Hows the stock head unit?

One more question.
What colors did the EH3 (SI) come in from 92-95?
I can't seem to find much information on the factory production numbers for 92-95s as easy as I can for the 96-00s.

If you can find a reliable source for production numbers, let me know.

Th3 EPC only lists the speaker bracket category (which shows the standard speakers and brackets for the car), not the auto radio category (which shows standard radios) for '92-'93. So it doesn't appear to show a standard radio for those years. For '94-'95 it shows an AM/FM cassette player.

No rear speakers are shown as being standard for any year.

Sick! thanks a lot for that table of colors.
It appears 95 would be the best year for the EH3 for me, because I either want black or white and I want the blackest interior. The graphite black only made in 95 should be darker than the off black, I think. It would be cool if they had examples of each color.

So the rear speakers you see in this picture would most likely not be factory because it is a 92?

Also, just making sure if this 92 is not "new blue pearl" then it is a repaint..
is that new blue pearl?

Last question, do the side moldings on the doors and the side mirrors come painted from the factory? I just want to know all of this so I know what I am buying because I am shopping around right now and I want to get something original.

I saw someone posted a Graphite black car the other day and it was just about as black as the interior you just posted. They looked the same as far as I recall.

New Blue Pearl is Captiva Blue Pearl. Honda's EPC just called it New instead.

The door jamb will say the interior and exterior color codes.

I so far only listed the STANDARD radio components. There are optional ones too. Rear speakers are optional, as are tweeters, a few more cassette players and CD players.

I could've sworn Aztec Green Pearl was available for Si hatchbacks in 94 and maybe even 95. Can anybody else confirm or deny this?

I wish I still had the 94 and 95 Civic brochures.

The side moldings and sidemirrors are originally black.

It's gonna be tough, or even close to impossible, finding an eh2/eh3 to your exact personal specifications despite the odds of it being rusted, damaged, or already modded, gl.

my 92 si has the rears speakers stock just like in the picture, even the wiring looked factory. It may have been a dealer option though
