Default My Build Thread

Im Sure You Guys Have Seen Me On The Forum. Its Time I Do A Build Thread. Enjoy!

Alright This Is What I Started Off With. 1988 Toyta Celica. This Car Ran Like A Champ. But I Sold It To Get My Civic

Than I Got The Vtec Monster.lol Picked Her Up in March 2007. 01 w/92,000 Miles. The Previous Owner Took Excellent Care Of It. I Didn't Have A Stock Pic But Here She Is With Blacked Out Housing, & Yellow Fogs

Here She Is Sitting On H&R Sport lines & Put On Some Side Markers

Finally Got The Rims. Drag Dr-17 17x7. Got Them For Cheap. Made A Huge Difference.

My Most Fav Mod...HKS Hi-Power Alxe Back Exhaust.

Got Tired Of Rocks Breaking My Fogs So I Got A Layer Of Rhion Plexiglass and Custom Did My Lights. Havent Had A Problem Since.

took a break catching up on my Credit Card that i maxed out by getting the rims & Exhaust... than got ebay grill, type r lip & Ebay Headlights which are sick! only $120. bomb deal

Got Tired Of The Back End Saggin So I Got Me A Set Or GroundControl Sleeve Coils!

Rattle Canned My Front lip for now till i get my RS lip and Got Me Some Weather Tech Window VIsors. Here She Is As Of Today. We've Been Threw A Lot But At The End I Think It Came Out Looking Pretty Nice

Car Got Out Of The Shop Looking Like This!

Your front end looks a lot like mine! Car looks pretty good. Not my favorite wheels though.

Lookin' good, man! One thing you might want to consider is painting the lip of your grill. IMO, it looks better when it's painted.

Example:

I loved my RS lip, until it broke in a crash . What kind of wheels are you looking for?

For SSM I used a duplicolor paint called "Silver Metallic" It's in a smaller paint can. It's a pretty close match, not perfect, but your not spending a ton of money for it. Primer and clearcoat would be good to.

DSGM340 Silver Metallic ..... I used the same thing for the lip of my grille. I didn't bother with primer, though. I just taped off the honeycomb area and used a 3M scuff pad (instead of sandpaper), applied a few light coats of paint, and topped it off with two coats of clear. Haven't had any problems with chipping or flaking. I will end up repainting it OEM SSM when I get my lips and skirts, though.

Sorry to hog your build thread with this, AzunEX. I will delete this post in a couple days.

Oh, and sorry to hear about your car, dude. Is there any structural damage? Or do you just need a new bumper cover?
