Default Rules of the Land

1) Only Tech and Help Discussions allowed
- "Help" does not mean "help me find a tuner" or "help, I need a basemap". This is a tech forum. If you want help finding a tuner, consult the people in the regional forums or look in the tuner directory for someone near you.

2) No post whoring - one word posts will not be tolerated and will be deleted with point reductions

3) No Sales or Wanted Threads or any threads which display any signs of being an advertisement for personal business

4) This is NOT a forum to display a cars hp, that is what the other forums are for. This is a technical discussion forum. The graphs can be used for asking questions and cross referencing what changes where done to net X result, etc.

5) Keep discussions CIVIL. Many tuners accomplish the same goal but in different fashions. Just because you do something one way, does not mean that someone elses way is wrong. Arguing without technical merit and obvious personal attacks will not be tolerated and will be handled upon the moderators discretion.

6) No threads of "what is the best EMS?" What is best is determinant on what program you/your tuner are most comfortable with.
Threads of this nature which are allowed are if you have a certain goal that you want to accomplish and you need to know what EMS will suit your goals as best as possible.

7) No discussions on how to break copyrighted code. IE: the pgmfi vs. Hondata situation. Posting ways to break coding in this manner through warez information are grounds for termination as a member of Honda-tech at the discretion of the moderators.

8) BE SPECIFIC. There are many engine management systems out there that do not have universal operation. When you post a problem, or anything for that matter. LET US KNOW WHAT ENGINE MANAGEMENT YOU ARE USING.

9) NO BUMPING threads unless you have something to add. If your questions were not answered, you likely did not provide enough information for us to help or were unclear. We are not going to spoon feed you information that is readily available. Help yourself first, then give us all the information you found to help yourself. We are not mind readers, but the majority of us have no problem helping when it is all layed out for us.
