I have been searchin and have only seen a few of these posted up on HT EVER! How many were made? Was it only a 2000 GSR color?

If its the techno violet blue that Im thinking of I believe only like 2000 GSR's were made in that color

im not sure but how about that thunder grey dc i think it only came out in 1994 anyone know?

 

gsr four door's have that paint... but i have never seen it on a two door

I have been researching this extensively and have only found a hand full of them in existance!

i didnt even know it was rare. i seen my car for the first time and was like nice gs-r......but purple? if i only knew lol

 

is this the car i looked at in some junk yard in queens, ny like 3 or 4 months ago? it was on ebay? **** was stripped.... good luck with the restoration

 

I seen a lot of 4dr versions of these.

I do believe the 4dr version was a different color.

This color ONLY came in 2dr 2000 GSR's! Correct me if I am wrong, and please show proof!

Restoration is nearly complete - just waiting on a few parts now!

Gonna be H2b. ITR Tranny, QSD Kit, JDM H22 with Euro R Mani, Full 3in Exhaust, custom Header, ITR Seats, FULL 100% OBD1 Conversion!!

 

DVP only came on 2000 GSR 3dr.

The 4drs that are close to this color are 95 DB8's in Stealth Gray. It's a dark purple/gray color, which is what I have. Definitely not the same thing as the car above.

Both, coincidentally, look smashing on bronze rollers, as does any Midnight Purple (BNR34) car or anything in Brickyard (Z33).

From what I have gathered this is definatelly one of the rarest colors.

I have heard anywhere from 3-500 were made ever. That is certainly extremely rare.

 

i'm getting ready to pick up a GSR in this color too....i can't believe how rare they are.

Prove it by posting pics when you do "get one". My friend has a purple gsr 1994. Ill check on door whats the name and code for this ugly paint color, its a 4 door LS. It isnt the first time i have seen a purple teg, but then again ive only seen a handfull. So i think they are rare.
