yes they had locks so either they had a key for them or they found some other way to break them free also on a side note
my brothers car was right across the street from mine with some brand new 17 in. gold drag r is what i think there called and they didnt touch those
one more thing i noticed was that they balanced the car on only 2 small bricks so there must have been 2 ppl who have done this before
this is rediculus there 300 wheels at most and theres at least a grand sitting across the street why would they be so stupid

well i already have a little over 2k saved for it but no since im buying new wheels i might as well got some more rota and new tires as well -$800 from my savings just cause some one needed my wheels more than i did apperntly
looks like u live in south austin, same happened to my old hatch, came home from work and it was on bricks. I had bronze slips..........i doubt you will find them also tell your brother to put the car up cuase they will come back.
You should have at least 2 sets of wheel locks on your wheels next time. I would be pissed if someone took my rotas, spent 800 on the wheels and tires. What do you want more, wheels or a motor? If you want the motor more, just buy some OEM wheels like blades or fat fives for 300 with decent tires on them. You will save 500 and still have some good looking wheels.

the motor can wait i <3 50 mpgs im just pissed that im getting set back bacause some ***** bag dosent have a real job to buy his own sht and has to take mine
yea true. i really hate ppl that cant buy their own stuff. if you really want a b16 really bad, hmotorsonline.com sells the b16a2 longblock for about 1250-1300 shipped. All you would need is the tranny, axles and half shaft, starter and speed sensor (if you dont buy a tranny with these on it), integra tranny bracket and tranny motor mount, an engine harness and clutch and flywheel(cant remember if I had to get anything else). Most of those stuff can be picked up from a junkyard for cheap. Just one option for you. Also if you just get some steelies and save up like 2500, you can get the whole swap from hmotorsonline.com shipped

It's a politically correct Honda Civic.

Stupid?
It's a lot easier to peddle cheaper, more common ****, than it is rarer, more expensive ****. I don't know about you but if I had illegal (stolen) **** in my garage and the local honda community was looking for it - I wouldn't wanna hold onto that **** too long. I'd want it gone ASAP.
Rims = Trackable (to an extent)
Cash = Not
The cheaper/more common the part, the easier to sell. I'm sure people weigh this when they steal **** - I would.
As far as other reasons go, there could be a thousand and one reasons. For all you know they only had certain keys? Maybe they tried the car across the street?
In any event, I'm sure it doesn't mean much to you, but you should be happy that they were stolen...
The CAR was on 4 bricks - it was still there - most people that get hit up by thieves aren't quite so lucky to have only lost 300 dollars, they usually lose the 3000 dollar base price of the car plus god knows how much extra in JDM bullshit they have into it. A civic isn't a hard car to jack and they sure as hell aren't rare which makes selling the parts a breeze.

u should get two locks and don't get cheap ones off of kragen or autozone. same thing happen to my friend's car as well. u should also get an alarm because if u do, some theive's won't touch ur car. good luck with the finding.
Wow sorry to hear that. Atleast they didnt take the whole car.

Anyone with any decent amount of intelligence can remove 90% of wheel locks without the key as fast as they can remove plain lugnuts.
I've had to do it twice, both were sets of BBS rims. Both times it took me ~2 minutes to get the lock off, and both times the only reason it took any time at all was because I was looking for what I needed. If I were there to steal them I would have come prepared.
Point is, wheel locks for the most part don't mean a damn thing.
Sorry someone stole your ****.
At least you kept the car. $500 in the grand scheme of things isn't that big a deal. I like to think of it as, if that's the worst thing that happens to you your entire life, you've led a good life.
