I have wondered this for some time now. I think there are enough differences in the DA and DC to justify this also. is there a possibility that we could open one up? i wouldn't mind devoting some time to help make this happen.

i have wondered, and wished the same thing! with the 90-91 integras being obd0, they are almost more like Efs in a way... from a technical point of view. I have also noticed that it is very hard to search for DA specific topics as "DA" is not a valid search. If there was a designated forum then you could just search the topic and not hae to worry about which integra it is regarding.

I am not trying to start anything, or ruffle any feathers. I am just curious if its a possibility, i see it as something that would be very helpful for DA owners. Heck maybe lump the pre 90 integras into the same forum

theres g2ic, ef-honda, clubcivic... the list goes on and on, nearly the whole honda line has other website forums dedicated to them. i think the DA should have a home on HT.

I am not sure what the reasons are for not doing this, so i guess i will contact someone with the administration to see what obstacles lay in our path. As i stated originally i would be more than happy to devote some time to help get the ball rolling should that be one of the hurdles.

 

There are many differences, but also many similarities. Does the forum move to fast for you?

Have any of you considered the negatives? Reduced traffic is one example.

 

H-T has so much traffic does it really matter? what would be the negatives?

OP, this thread may soon get locked if the "sepratists" try to take action. You can post a comprehensive lists of pros and cons.

 

I really just wanted to pose the question, I believe there has been a thread started in the mods corner regarding this proposal. The "DA only" thread wasn't my idea, and i don't see that being all that helpful. However, i do see having a DA specific forum to be advantageous, a couple of key points have been made by others already. Like i said before, i am not trying to start an uprising, lol, just trying to see what the possibilities are. thanks for the space

i'm going to have to side with dogginator on this one. i can't seem to think of any absolute pros to having an all da forum. on the con side, well, it would be pointless. if you look at the threads on this forum, 80% of them is for later year integra's not da's. don't get me wrong, there are da topics, but the da forum would be a slow *** forum. like the s2k forum. that forum only has 2 or 3 pages in it. it moves slow. and over time people wouldn't post tech any more. it would be more like rambling. where as with a general integra forum there is much you can learn from the later year integra owners. what parts are compatible, what isn't ect... i vote no to the new forum.

I am neither for or against it at this point. I want the pros and cons to make an informed decision.

 

The only thing better then an EF is a DA. I'm with ya on this.
