water hose routing? What to keep, what to plug?
For a car that is going to be strictly a track car is it necessary to keep ALL the water hose? I'm not using an IAC.
What I was going to keep was the oil cooler hoses and the radiator hoses only. But I also need a bypass hose. Which holes do I use to bypass?

Its a B18C and no electric water pump.
I want as little lines as possible so I can keep things as clean as possible.

im using upper and lower hose, no IAC hoses, and used a gsr t stat housing and the 90* bend bypass hose. capped everything else. you need the bypass hose on the intake thats the long loopy hose that wraps around. ill try to look for a better pic later.
i am surprised that wasnt with ms paint.
but dave is where i got my answer to the same question, he illustrated what i was trying to say.

You dont need that, I have my blocked off and everything works fine and it doesn't over heat or even run warm.

yea, you should have it, along with a thermostat to ensure a properly working coolant system. is yours completly blocked or do the iac hoses still connect to it ? along with the hose that is on the coolant outlet on the head ?
i had everything blocked in a street car back in 04, with the exeption of the 2 main rad hoses, and a thermostat, and the car would never run cool, in fact, it would overheat in about 5 minutes.... when the head is scorching hot, your rad is cool, and so is the thermostat,, which doesnt open....

Thanks guys. I've been working on getting this damn car running for about the last week after work.
Hopefully it'll be running in about 2-3 weeks.
