I disagree. I think this sounds like a perfect bike for a beginner. Its not a huge investment, so laying it down isnt going to break the bank.
Why does everyone act like 600cc is so outta control and hard to handle? Besides stating the obvious that if your an idiot your gonna loop/lay/crash, its not that big of a deal.
If you've never driven a clutch, or dont understand how clutch/gas/gear works, learn that in a car....on a bike its 100x easier cause you can use your body weight to move the bike .
I got my first bike when i was 8...it was an 80cc...and have progressivly moved up from that as i got bigger, but if your an adult, i dont see the reason a 600 is too much.
ive never seen such a group of "extreme sport" enthusiasts act like such pussies. Sorry..but its true.

Who's an extreme sport enthusiast?</TD></TR></TABLE>
I think its safe to safe the majority of the US population would consider riding sport bikes that were practically made for the track to be an extreme sport.
I just dont think its as hard to handle as some of you make it out to be.

Some beginners can't handle motorcycles, at all. Bikes are dangerous, and I really feel that no one bike is "perfect" for beginners. There are so many factors involved in choosing a bike, it seems pointless to argue this issue. It's not just about how easy the bike is to control, but how well you can control yourself on any particular bike.

I agree 100% with you. I get sick of everyone on here always deterring people. I just need to ignore it.
Sorry op for the interruption.
Good luck with the sale!

This would make a fine beginner bike in my opinion. I'm 17 and I started on a 600, its not bad as long as you have any self control at all. To the op, bike looks great!

and why not?
I think that generation GSXR is a perfect starter bike. It can even be a great track-day bike once the rider gets to that level.
Appearance and possible maintenance issues aside, this looks like a good buy - especially considering how plentiful and cheap GSXR parts are.
EDIT:
I thought the ad said $2000, not $3000. At $3K, there are much better buys.

Do you really need to ask that?
Lets see - cracked/broken fairings, worn frame slider, broken lever tips, rashed mirrors, missing screws/bolts, etc.

yea, i know it's obvious but i was giving him the benefit of the doubt cuz he didn't mention it in his description.. idk guess downing a bike isn't a vital piece of info while trying to make a sale to fellow h-t members...
