it will be great when we can see some *actual* pics of what the car will look like and not more pics of the modified S2K....Im sure it will be sick with the v10 they plan on putting into it

true i also agree...as time goes by, the manufactures improve the economics, and make the car look more futuristics, they aren't as nice as before

No, they just used S2000 body panels as camo and development skin. Riding under those panels is the next NSX testbed.

The test mule that we're all seeing on the track in Japan and Germany is a car that was manually put together from a dissected S2000. Panels were added here and there where it was necessary to accommodate the V10 motor and the drivetrain.

The funny thing is that from some angles this manually constructed test mule looks a lot better than the concept car. After a very cold reception wherever it has been shown, the concept car was supposedly radically redesigned in order to provide current Acura and Honda owners with a better perception of what a Honda supercar is supposed to look like!
In the angle in the picture above, I think that's a nice looking car. In a Jaguar or Aston Martin kind of way.
It's only as the car passes you that you realise it's a project car that's got a lot of unusual sheet metal on it.
