Default 100% stock internalled b18c, pump gas, drag radials & 10.87 baby!

Ah yes, what could more could i ask for? Two liters maybe? haha. Anyhow, heres a link to the FI forum on the build/dyno ###'s Chassis is a 92 hatch. (what else?)

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2127625

Now for the story first time at the track!

Since the dyno, i have only driven the car for the two weeks leading up to the drag strip event off of the WG spring. (315whp) The car felt really fast, but it has been 2 years since i built a fast car after racing streetbikes for the last 2 years. My old turbo car went 11.8 @ 119 with 349whp/10psi stock engine on a smaller turbo. Soo i was skepticle of this car goin anywhere near that number on low boost which was 35whp less and on a drag radial opposed to a full slick on the old car. Soooo, first pass of the day on the new setup, tree'd the hell out of some all motor ram air LS1 and this is what i got:

11.4 @ 123!!! F---in right i was stoked!!! Especially on a DRAG RADIAL with a weee 315whp!!!
Soo after that pass, i toyed around with my launch RPM's with the two step, dialed in my air pressure, in which 17psi was the magic stick after a few passes. Let the car cool down, then it was game on!
I do my burnout, get out of the box, stage, get on the two step (6400rpm), yellow yellow yellow GREEN! get out good, flip on the high boost top of first gear and row through the rest and this was my reward:

(highboost 379whp)

BOOO Yah! Now imagine if i was on a full slick, got the extra 100lbs out of my car like i wanted to, and revved the engine a little higher than 8400? Reguardless, i was beyond words stoked that i had gone 10s on a 100% stock OEM internalled B18c. Just goes to show what can be done with such little power in a 2100lb daily driven street car!

man thats some killer trapspeeds for only 315 .. seems like your actually making a bit more power, unless your cars just light as Fck

sounds pretty sick (edit didnt see it was 2100lbs, so that can make diff)

but 131mph is more then 350 hp, in my opinion, i was making 500 on my 2300ish lb civic trappd 135 at 1140s on radials (and my 60 was crappy at 195)

1.7 sixty is nice
and pass looks nice, but i think it was making more power

either way fast car

even at 2100lbs.. i would think you would be a bit more than 315hp to go 130+mph on radials

Traps and ET seem a little quick for 315whp. Sure youdidn't turn up the boost between passes?

The 11.4 @ 123 was with the 315whp. (off the WG spring)

The 10.87 @ 131 was with 379whp (high boost)

Sorry for the confusion.

thanks for the kind words!

Those new hoosier DOT drag radial just might be the new thing man! As far i know, they're new on the market and untested, so i gave em a whirl. Simple suspension setup, urethane front bushings and 1000lb rate rear springs on a AGX strut. it spins minimally through first, which works perfect. Anyless RPM it dead hooks, anymore RPM it violently spins.. I love my MSD digital 2 step, its the cats ***!

Do you daily drive on the hoosiers? I read on their webiste that they are not recommended for highway use. Are they even DOT approved?
