s2000 vs rsx
hey guys, well obviously i cannot sleep right now, LOL i've test drive the s2k and rsx type s today, and still cant seem to find a decision, i would appreciate if you guys give me some opinions. okay here is my plan i'm obviously picking up the car by friday because i have a few days to decide, so here's the deal when i was driving the s2k it felt kinda bumpy to me, is it me or is does anyone feel that? and for the rsx it takes of faster but at the end i don't feel the potential no more but the s2k is the **** when i take off on it...i would like some suggestions should i go with the s2k or rsx type s? and im thinking about putting turbo in either one of those but is it worth it?!??!? opinions will hope but i will definitely pick one of those i just don't want to make the wrong choice, and one last thing how much does it cost to change the s2k top to a hardtop anyone know!??!?! thanks

i would rather have the type-s over the s2000, dont get me wrong there great cars but they have no storage, there super tight in the cabin and ther rwd. i mean rwd is fun for weekends and the summer but i wudnt like it as a dd, you will going thru lots of tires

if you need our help to make this decision, you should really just go buy a kia.
they are two totally different cars, and nobody knows what will suit you better than yourself.
as far as the hardtop goes, SEARCH....ever hear of google, ebay, etc? ballpark 2000-4000 depending on style and if it's used/new, w/hardware or w/out

Agreed...
Both get about the same MPG...Ive owned both and i enjoy my S more but love having a second car to sit in traffic or to enjoy a smooth ride

the lotus takes off great and takes corners like its on rails
the Daewoo fits more **** in it and has A/C and i live in the desert...

How old are you?
How old are you?
I can see why it's a hard decision. Spending lots of money always keeps you up especially if you're torn between two things you want, in this case: an rsx or s2k. Well, for me, I'd get the RSX-S ONLY BECAUSE I would want the extra room for stuff and possibly roadtrips with friends. Also, I don't have a garage so having a S2K is out of the question because of those damn thieves! But if you aren't too concerned about driving people in your car or lugging around stuff, get the S2K

I think you need to worry about an RSX being stolen over the s2k.

Probably true but either way both cars look tasty to a thief haha. And if I choose the S2K I would've stuck with the soft top (less weight, looks better IMO, etc) and thieves could easily just slash through that ****. Till I get a garage, S2K here i come!

All s2k's have soft tops because S2k's are convertibles. The hardtop is an attachment you buy seperately.

Yep, that's why I said I would stick with the soft top because I think it looks better.
On another note, if you get the S2K, make sure your girlfriend/wife gets a sedan or something with more room so you don't have to worry about it haha

Obviously the majority of people in this forum prefer the RSX. They just got the S2000 to mess with you.

in my s2k, i could fit a monitor,a computer,a keyboard, approximately 20 jeans and 40 T-shirts, 5 bags full of stuff and more all together.
when i go golfing my clubs fit. i go snowboarding topdown
drove 18 hours straight from San Francisco to Vancouver 4 times a year and it was comfy with cruise control.. it iseconomic ( only 2.0~2.2 L )
its like driving a better miata. its very fun, .. FR and convertible, i loved it.
Honestly, get whatever u want man.
If u have the money, you can make a Class A RSX and make a car much faster and better handling than S2000.
s2ks are kinda over rated.. rsx can easily be as fast as s2k on straights and corners..but if u want more attraction, and convertible, than get a s2k.
If i were u. i would definately get the S2000 over rsx
