you have the serial number, thats all they need to give you the code. call them all till one gives it to you. also look around your glovebox for a white sticker with it on it.

</TD></TR></TABLE>Find another Acura dealer, I have never heard of a "fee" although any dealer will charge if they have to pull the HU to get the s/n, I would go to the dealer, [with proof of ownership] and ask them for the core, it takes only a min. for them to look it up.
There should be no fee, it's called customer service, you may have to remind them of that. 94

BTW, it does not surprise me that they would not give it to you over the phone, it's a security code, they have no way of knowing you are the rightful owner.
