Default civicflow's "Nightmare" log

Picked up my 91 civic hatch a couple months ago. It has a b16.
It had some crappy ebay mounts that i took out and put some hcp mounts in.
Car is from Georgia so no rust.

I also purchased a ys1 LSD tranny that will be installed as well. Lots of wiring and cleaning up to do.

The wiring was all mesed up.

And an ugly valve cover. Not sure what he was thinking

I resprayed it a metallic color. I want to get it powdercoated sometime but this will do for now.

It had a crx dash in but i switched it back for a civic one and installed my integra arm rest. Dash had no tach so i got my old one back and installed that as well

Hooked up my new Injen intake and ran some wires for the radiator fan to a switch on the dash. Also installed a stock header heat shield.

No rust ftw!

Some interior shots

VW front lip(Needs to be trimmed, came on the car like that)

More to come...

I took the dash out to start a wire tuck.

Here is the dash next to my ys1 LSD trans and JG Header with modified 2.5 collector done by RCautoworks.com.

I took off the intake manifold to help with the wire tuck plus I purchased a 2nd gen b16 intake manifold(the old one was for an automatic and looked ugly).

I pulled most of the passenger harness into the car with the fuse box. Still need to tidy it up.

Here is the passenger side cleaned up some.

And what I started with

I need to clean up the injector wiring and drivers side wiring then on to the behind the dash wiring. I took out the heater and air since the tubes going into the car were smashed so I junked it all.

More to come...

I would rather give some money to our farmers. Plus it should have a better torque curve and hold up better to the high compression this motor will have. 12.8:1

Out to do some more wire tucking.

hey its Matt's old car I was going to buy it about 6 months ago maybe longer, It was in pretty decent condition when I looked at it but he had a timing belt issue I didnt want to touch, I needed a running daily driver. Looks like you know what your doing, I cant wait to see the results. If you dont like that VW lip check out the other style, VW Golf MK3 Jetta VR6 GTI Deep Front Bumper Spoiler Lip (on ebay) it fits way better and looks like it should have been oem. cheap too.

lol, yeah the crx was just a beater without a heater. (i sold the crx and got a 96 subaru impreza AWD. Good winter/daily car).

I am cleaning up the injector wiring and am going to run it up thru the intake manifold. The resistor box is relocated inside the car along with fuse box and some other little things. I started a batter relocating as well. I just need to get a sealed battery.

Definitely a ton more detonation resistance (= power potential) with the ethanol. I can't wait to see how this turns out!!!

It is just a stock B16 now. I have the ls block w/knifedged ls crank, shotpeened ls rods, and CTR pistons sitting waiting for other wiring/work to be done.

Finished up the engine bay wiring today. I am thinking of sending my intake mani and throttle body to Maxbore.com to be bored out soon. I need to get a bigger AMP fuse for the battery relocated to the back.

I might be picking up some Skunk2 Pro 1's later this week.

More pics to come

Well, been doing little things. I finished up the wiring for the most part. I just need to wire up the radiator fan.

Today I started to switch some stuff from my old intake manifold to P30 intake manifold. I need to order some fuel rail studs cuz I broke 2 of the 3 trying to get them out of the old mani.

Off to Honda to order fuel rail studs, throttle body studs/bolts, and throttle body gasket.

A couple pics of the engine bay with wiring pretty much done.

Dash reinstalled....finally

Took off the rear bumper to repaint it with black bumper paint. The bumper support is rusty. Gonna junk it once I figure out how to get it off.

Things will be cleaned up just keep running into more problems. Hence the Nightmare name.
