finishing my poormans type r built motor...need some suggestions
i need to find a itr header....where can i find one for sale..looked on ebay..cant find something close to it...any suggestions on what i should get..
so far i got rebuilt
1. b18c1 block
2. b16 head
added
3. stage 2 cams
4. high compression pistons
5. skunk 2 intake magnifold
6. skunk 2 70 mm throttle body
7.act clutch + flywheel
any other suggestions

Throttle body's too big, you really don't need more than 65mm on that build. Are you looking for a stock 4-1 tubular style factory header or something like a DC JDM 4-1 header because they should be relatively easy to find, especially on ebay.

thanks for the info..i guess that i havent searched really good for that header but sure will..i bore my head also and am not sure what kind of head gasket to use but i will soon find out when my machine shop tells me... i know that im going to use a cometic headgasket but dont know how thick...let me know what you used and how many hp are you doing if you dont mind me asking...

I used a Buddy Club 2 layer headgasket along with a certain amount of head milling to get me to the compression level I needed. I'm still doing some fine tuning with my Hondata setup and haven't yet dyno'd it but I'm confident that it will put down at least 190hp+ at the wheels. With a good header like SMSP, I'm sure I'd be in the magical 200whp range. Either way, the dyno is mainly a tuning tool and the numbers don't mean anything, it's the numbers at the end of the 1/4 mile track that tell the true story.

hey just added dc sports 4-1 headers and i want to know if i will have a problem connecting the throttle body cable to a b16 head from a gsr harness or w.e...i dont know what im saying right now but w.e. if anyone has an idea let me know.. thanks ...
