Not CTR so what are they?
I think i got fucked by the shop who installed my cams...i dont think they game me my CTR's back...can anyone identify these? Going to bed now so i can be well rested for the fight when i get to the shop who stole my cams. Just wanted to know which cams they are so i know.
**EDIT** PLEASE READ ALL POSTS BEFORE MAKING A DECISION including mine, i have spent close to 12k in the last year at IL4, this is the only bad experience.

Will post tomorrow if issue not resolved. I am going to give them the benifit of the doubt and not run their name through the dirt just yet...(lets just say that they advertise here on H-T)

dude post the name of the shop so other people know not to go there. thats not an honest mistake. i pm'ed you about buying those cams a few days ago.

Yeah i havent replied because of this...I know that the shop just let someone go so the shop may have just become aware of theft...

either way, people need to know so they can learn from your mistake. if your looking for a good mechanic, Jay Smith opened a shop again in Rialto. His work owns.

Thanks man...i have a feeling after tomorrow i will be looking for a new shop/ mechanic. I hope not though. I promise as soon as get back from the shop with news good or bad I will post up.

the way it sounds to me is that he had legit CTR cams and when he had them installed the shop put in b16 cams.

You're right about not going in there pointing fingers 'n **** - go in there and ask 'em what's going on.

That's a load of ****. I gave somebody the wrong cams back by mistake, and it was simply b/c I wasn't paying attention. Was talkin with somebody and wasn't paying attention, I put the left out cams from another motor in the box that his aftermarket ones came in. He took 'em home not realizing a damn thing - then the next day I'm trying to install GSR cams in a mitsubishi motor and it wasn't working out too well - that's when I realized I messed up - but I called him up and it was all good.
Point of the story's simple - it was a mistake, I made it, I corrected it. Though I'm not the only one who makes mistakes - **** happens.
Is it possible they saw the CTR cams and swiped 'em? Absolutely. Though is it also possible that they messed up? Definitely.
So tell 'em what's up and show 'em the end of ur cams b4 you go in there all show tellin 'em they ripped off ur cams. Sometimes garages are thieves, I've seen it 100 times, but sometimes they mess up, I've seen that 100 times as well.
