FS- K24 shortblock
My friend who is a senior Honda technician at the local Honda dealership has a good k24 shortblock with 15k from a 2006 CRV that was in for a bad head. Honda replaced the entire longblock under warranty and he has the shortblock.
It's in great condition with no issues. what you see is what you get, aside of course from the RO information! there is no timing chain cover, sorry!
price is 400 plus shipping though i encourage local pickup. location is deep southern nj.
i will get pics next week as it's safely stored at his home shop.

ok, here is more info....
i can provide a copy of the repair order with the car's vin number, etc. the only info that will not be provided is the original owner's name and address.
Also, the thing can be picked up at the dealership down here, so for those worried i'd say that's pretty legit in itself. I can accompany you to the dealership.
I was told i'll have pics tomorrow so as soon as i have them they will be on here!

alot of people think that it is blowed is my guess and there is no way to tell really.if it were me i would want to see the bottom or at least the rod journals.but i would also make them pay a little more money for your trouble also.now if you say no that throws a red flag.but if you did then it might change there mined.
i am not saying it is blowed up.....but there is alot of people doing **** like this and it makes it hard on the rest of us trying to sell something like this...

this is the deal. it's owned by a honda technician. he's been at honda for 20 years. he's got the repair order for the vehicle that details what was wrong and that it was solely the head, not the block.
keeping in mind if someone buys this, it's coming from him. it's at his house. you deal with him, i'm just brokering the deal because he doesn't know about this scene.
he'd be pretty silly to sell something that was not what he says it is given his position. it's fine and i encourage anyone who is interested to talk to me and him.

Most of the times the parts on the side of that motor cost more than the whole motor because you have to get them from honda, cause most people when they get those pieces they keep those pieces and wont sell them because they need backups as well. However 400 dollars is a really really good price for them, if i didnt have 3 blocsks already sitting here, id get on it.

well, ideally, this should go to someone with an ep3 or something that wants to increase the displacement and already has those parts. They were reused on the longblock that honda that the dealership replaced this shortblock with...
