looking for information/advise on removing badges from car body.
I own a 96 Gs-R and I've seen some other Integras with the badges removed, and i think it looks pretty nice... anyway, i was wondering after you take off the badge, does it leave and marks or residue from the adhesive that was originally holding the badge in place? if so would i have to repaint my car, or will it just come off with a little elbow grease? any comments and/or advice from people who have removed badges from their cars would be greatly appreciated. thank you!

I used floss to remove the emblems on my S2000. It leaves residue behind, but you don't risk digging one of the corners of the emblem into the paint if you try to pry it off my hand. I used WD-40 after that to soak the residue, then heated it a bit with a blow dryer. Finger nails work for the glue/goop, that's how I did it. I couldn't think of anything else at the time that would be gentle on my paint. It worked like a charm, no swirls or scratches were left behind. Just be patient and don't get the paint too hot.
Keep in mind: You may wind up with some holes in the body. I just started the body work on my 97 integra and I believe there were small holes left where the badges used to be.
