Default Rear main seal or oil pan?

Does it look like my main seal is leaking or does it look like dirt/oil build up from the oil pan? This motor WAS a automatic jdm gsr motor.

it looks like build up to me.

wipe it off and look. might as well replace the pan gasket to be safe.

Rear main seal looks good. Change out the oil pan gasket. Make sure everything is dry (oil free) when you install and you don't overtighten it.

Since you have everything apart, you might as well replace it. At least I would.
