interesting, Id like to see some comparisons (MF if you need a test car, Id be more than willing to test it on my setup!!) . I am still using my OEM IM on my turbo setup, and I havent decided if I want to continue to push for more HP since its already making more than enough power. But if I did decide to, Id be interested in upgrading the IM. Most of the new aftermarket IMs seem to be the Full Race style, where the IM tapers from the TB to the 1st cyl. I find it interesting the MF IM does not have this taper.

Nice!! It probably saves as much weight as a CF Hood. 2.2kg = only about five pounds.

Looks like you need high revving 2.0 to take advantage of it NA.

Exactly my thoughts. Do you have the dimensions on the plenum? I'd like to know the volume.

The plenum design is very basic.

There are fittings for the IACV on the plenum, which is currently over 50% larger than the oem Type-R (just over 2.0l)

Runners have been tuned for peak torque between 5500-6500, although this is subject to further tweaks, as is the plenum (for example, the taper as described above).

Please note that our Race Manifold is still undergoing testing on various vehicles (both NA and FI) and the final product is subject to additional "tweaks" before it is finally released to market.

Our decision to offer this product is based not on defacto performance, but a good all-rounder which is not hard on your wallet (i.e bang for buck). We do not see the point in offering a top-end product costing over $1000 a pop if the general consumer won't purchase it. We saw a gap in the midfield and we are filling it

We initially offered a "teaser" to a select few customers with overwhelming response, so decided to add it to this months newsletter. Didn't realize it would spread to HT though :D

Any questions, please feel free to contact us.

currently, what size is the inlet on the plenum? I assume a stock TB will bolt up to it? What about larger TB? Is there room for porting on the flange?

MF

Yup, stock TB will bolt to it no problem

There is a few mm more room on the flange for larger TB's at present, but we are thinking of revising the IAC passage slightly to accomodate extra-large bore TB's

I wonder how much more power this can make over my edelbrock manifold on my 2.0L NA motor.

Just did our master buy in with M-Factory, the parts all look great in person... The oil cooler I ordered for my personal car is DAMN amazing for the price we paid.

I'd like to get one of these manifolds for stock when they become available... Anyone have a working link?

hey guys,

unfortunately, we've put the IM project on hold at the moment as we have too many ongoing projects at the moment (all drivetrain related).

there is also the fact that C-Speed/Corrupt Interactive/CI-Media (i.e mfactoryusa) stole that prototype that you see in the link, which is kind of a good thing in a sense as it allows us to start afresh

seeing as the link to their site was posted, buyer beware, the site is a fake and scam and you will lose your money if you purchase from it (as a lot of people before).

The official website for MFactory is: http://www.teamMFactory.com
