Bondo on inside ot rear quarter panels?

Default Bondo on inside ot rear quarter panels?

What would this typically be a sign of? There is no eveidence of rust.

Possibly to smooth out hammer marks from a previous repair. I dont really understand where your talking about though.

I will have pics of the insides in a little bit. It is on both rear panels in about the same location on each side. No indications of rear end collision





Thanks for the help. I haven't seen it personally yet. I will post the inside pics as soon as I get them.

Thats exactly what I said.

I was buying these and the guy was about to start cutting them out when he found the bondo. He checked the otherside and found the same. Called me and asked if I was still interested. I asked for pics.

Don't know if I should cancel and find different ones or if they will be good to use. Just awaiting pics now.

What is seam sealer? Could it look like bondo?

If it is just minor dent repair do you think they are still worth buying?

Seam sealer fills in gaps (seams) where panels meet together. It has all differnent textures/thicknesses. I cant really help you out till I see it.

i just wonder cause my coupe had a spot on one side that the seam sealer robot musta stopped or something and i got a glob of it on the inner quarter. Anything is possible but i don't see why someone would use bondo inside the car? It's usually covered by plastic panels..
