crusing to work at 6am on an open highway. cops crosses the town border into another follows me and gives me a ticket for 63 in a 55, and failure to use turnsignal(which i did use). also tried to give me a ticket for evading ,said i went a mile before i stopped, i never saw lights or heard sirens. looking at $200 in fines and 4 points. whats 4 points gonna do to my insurance if i cant get them dropped? u know its getting bad when ur getting pulled over at 6 in the morning doing 8 over when most cars are doing atleast 15 -30 over. im about to get a dual sport

 

if what you say is true yeah thats bullshit. 6 in the morning not quite fully awake yet, hard to notice stupid yellow lights on top on cop car. Anyway sounds like you may be able to get some of that reduced. Especially the evading, I mean comon, you were on a sport bike, you could of dusted him.

A guy in a hayabusa the other day ran a few times against me and my friends' S, he said that he got pulled over a while back and he was scared and we called him a dumbass for even thinking about stopping. lol

Around here there are 2 things cops don't pull over.

1. Huge mother ******* trucks
2. Bikes (but they do pull over harleys)

 

damn did you get pulled over by the trooper or local cop? I usually go over 100 on a turnpike and usually the cars go over 80mph.. that sucks man..

But yeah I've run before, but only if I'm sure I can get away (fairly safely). Around here sportbikes have such a bad rep that most cops will totally screw you if they pull you over. Just to make up for the other guys that got away. And yes I'm aware that me running isn't helping the situation. I usually try not to do stupid stuff that would get me pulled over.

pretty much the same thing happened to a friend of mine. We were riding in a group of about 4-5 guys. Cop pulled up behind us flipped his lights and for some reason went after my friend on a busa. He didn't see the cop right away, we were speeding but not running. As soon as he saw the cop he pulled over. They impounded his brand new bike and scratched it all up. Gave him like four tickets, fleeing and evading, speeding, reckless driving, etc. That's why sometimes it's just easier to run.

 

Cops wait for me on a street and last year gave me 4 tickets for "disobeying traffic signs". They say they didn't clock how fast I was going but saw I was going way over the limit. Which is crap because I never ever speed on my road because there are too many little kids. I fight all the tickets but come on, 18 year old with a streetbike against a 40 year old cop.

 

Just run..... no point in stopping there all ******** anyways ............

 

You can out run the 18 second car but can you out run the motorola walkie talkie.

you'll get the speeding ticket, even if it is a ridiculous ticket, but the others should be dropped in court.

it sucks to be harassed by the bulls, but they harass us because some of you ******* keep running and doing other stupid ****.

the way some people they behave it's like they're trying to get sportbikes banned just so they can increase their rebel factor.

My friend another person for some reason actually stopped for the cop he tried to give him evading went to the DA and said come on if i wanted to evade you know damn sure that I would have succeeded DA agreed. Stupid doughnut muching mother ******* I hate cops so much. I never pull over for pigs one of my old co-workers became a pig and he says we pray that sportbikes will pull over if they run we won't even bother all we can do is try to get their plate. So fashion up something that will flip your plate up and have at the throttle.

ive had friends in similar situations who got EVERYTHING dropped. there was one time i herd about where after hearing the story, the judge said this is ridiculous and dropped everything with a warning.

I live in NORTH CAROLINA hahah if state troopers had those bikes I would cry, I see 1 motorcycle officer per YEAR... MAYBE. And its always a freaking harley style bike.

In my small **** *** town, the cops drive BMW dual sport bikes...poorly...they tailgate and wear no gear....
