Ok, first off, this may not be the right section, but Ill put it in here anyways..

Heres the story..
Back in October (the last week in october) I ordered a Bseries Topmount and a 4inch DownPipe from Turbo Elements http://www.turboelements.com

after talking with the guy on numerous emails, we got shipping worked out to canada and everything was good..
Order came to 1005$ US shipped or close to it...
HE shipped USPS for me because im in canada and always get nailed at the border...
He took till the week before christmas (2 months) to tell me that he shipped out the package..
After another month and a half, i STILL hadnt seen anything come in... SO i contact him through numerous emails and get nothing.. SO i Call him, and finally i get ahold of him..
He assures me that hes building another manifold for me and Is just waiting on a new collector from ATPturbo.com... SO i give him the benefit of the doubt and tell him to contact me when its done...
After another couple weeks, I still hadnt heard from him... so I continue calling him... I get ahold of him and he tells me that its built.. and hes gonna contact me NEXT day with a tracking number... (email/phone/ or pm on here)

I didnt get any notification at all... and ive been calling him pretty much every day since and never actually get ahold of him.... Also sending him quite a few emails.

It has been 5 months since I first placed the order... Ive talked to the guy and he seemed to be a good help, but this is just getting out of hand...
I dont want to be a dick about all this, but this is REALLY holding me back big time and I feel like I have no options here...

What should I do..... Im thinking that my next steps will be to call VISA and report the sale...

another shop's rep gone to ****. i don't know why these companies treat their customers this way.

 

well Im lookin through his thread, and there are people that have been receiving products from him... I just dont know what to do anymore...
I cant let something like this ruin my whole build this winter...

 

i would call this week and say if u they dont ship it asap with a tracking number your canceling the order you can get another top mount for that price probably cheaper .....i wouldnt stress it

 

I do call him.. I Leave messages on his voice mail.. at least 1-2 a day normally...

 

email doesnt answer call again monday if no answer cancel it ...its not like u cant find other topmounts there like 4 or 5 brands off the top of my head that i know sell them

 

my only problem is will VISA fix the order for me or what?

 

no clue call and find out...u paid and didnt get a top mount so they probably will cancel the order on ur credit card as long as the place u bought the topmount from didnt accept the money u sent them yet if they didnt and wont put it back on ur credit card then take them to court ull win

 

sorry to hear man, seems like more and more people have been getting screwed and jerked around over manifolds lately. $1000 is a lot to drop, i hope you get it all sorted out

 

on top of all this, if i DO get a refund from him, then i gotta shop for a new manifold and 4inch DP...

 

thats isnt hard my friend ask in forced forums they will tell ya ill give u one right now http://nsrtechnologies.net has 4inch downpipes and topmount

I had a special request for my DP because i wanted to run Vband... I bought the 4bolt to Vband adapter from ATPTurbo

 

damn thanks for letting us know. i was looking to buy a top mount from them. ima look somewhere else now.

hes an awesome guy..
I shipped a block to him in philly... he took it and shipped it to Golden Eagle in California for me.. handled everything with GE
Got me CP pistons and Pauter rods to add to the box when it came back from Cali..
Shipped it all back to me...
he did All this for a total stranger... we need more people like him on here...


all this was done 2 months AFTER I ordered my manifold...

 

damn man, that sucks... No joke, I was about to order a top mount from them by the end of next week, but now I guess I'll shop somewhere else.

 

I didnt want it to come to this, but i had to let the people of H-T know about one of the suppliers on here..

 

I think these kinds of threads (if legitimate in nature) are really helpfull when it comes to the reputation of a business. This also might be a good thing for businesses to explain their side of the story, and see how they resolve the issue at hand. Honda-tech is a pretty large community and word does get around fast, I think honda tech can litteraly make or ruin a business.... Hopefully this situation will get resolved, I wish you luck...

 

well i hope that he sees this and the whole thing can be resolved... because its much easier for both parties involved...

But having said that, I can only be SOO patient..
IVe got an entire engine/turbo build currently in progress for this winter, Everything is new, parts are all over the place and i would hate to see everything be spoiled by waiting for a manifold and DP..

 

I was just gonna order from them. thought they were a good company. thanks for the heads up
