So I askd around and shops said 450 to replace my clutch.
I knew how I just didnt have the time.
Well tonight I made time and about 45 min ago dropped the tranny..

So I think im correct when I thought my clutch went bad.....

Havnt taken off the flywheel to see the other side.
I just got this off less than an hour ago.

noticed u got sig's on all ur pic's..is there a way to make a setting in photoshop so that everytime u save a pic..it puts ur sig on it for you?

yes you automate it in photoshop

But uh back on topic... my clutch was eating my flywheel

 

no i was just talking about the quality and resolution of the pics is very clear, for pics of an old clutch setup.

i have been there too with the clutch, man im glad i cam home hte night before becaus my car wouldnt move the next day

 

damn that thing looks like ***... oh yeah and just a little word of advice.. the other side of the flywheel isnt gonna look anyworse than the clutch side. nothing makes contact. make sure you check your rear main seal (replace it if it were me) while you are that far into it. safety sakes.

My thoughts exactly... I was curious what you were expecting to see on the other side of the flywheel. Definately do a rear main while you are in there unless you just did one when you put the motor in.

 

hell yeah man i just did mine in the drive way in 30 degree wather wind chill19. it was f'in cold. mine didn't look that bad but a few mora days of boosting and it would've. i got pics i throw up later.

I got a clutch from ekay.jay
says itll hold 400hp so when I boost. im safe.

and now its about to storm so I cant put it back in.

 

I got the same clutch, im throwing 500whp at it... soooo lets see how it reacts

So can I get a rear main seal from say autozone or
should I only get it from the dealer?????

Cuz I'd like to put it back together before monday....

 

just FYI the other side of the flywheel wont look any different. make sure to resurface the flywheel alot of people skip that.
